antique mid-1800s English transferware flow mulberry black china jar, Pelew Chinese scene chinioserie

Very old, very shabby mulberry flow transferware china jar, mid-1800s vintage English Staffordshire. This is the Pelew pattern Chinese scene in a very dark almost black color.

The jar is probably a water jar from a very old tea set, or possibly a biscuit jar? It's about 5 1/4" across the base x 5 3/4" tall. There's quite a few chips and a couple of cracks, still it displays very nicely, and it's holding well.
