antique Cauldon china dinner plates, Chinese peonies or India tree floral

Lot of five 19th century Cauldon - England china plates with Indian tree or Chinese peony tree floral pattern.

These are 10" in diameter, with stamped and printed Cauldon marks, also marked for Stern Bros. New York.

These are lovely, but very old china... the colors are slightly uneven, and they have a slightly matte or dull oxidized finish, whether from age or from wear we're not sure.

We've just wiped them gently with a soft cloth, haven't attempted to clean or shine them up at all. They'd make beautiful wall hanging pieces just as they are.
