Rare old early 1800s (1802) book on the life of British Army Colonel James Gardiner who was killed by the Scottish Highlanders at the Battle of Preston-Pans during Charles Stuart's (Bonnie Prince Charlie) second Jacobite Rebellion in 1745.
It has about 165 pages and has some condition issues. The front cover is loose and held on with some old tape. The pages are worn and stained and spotted. Some are torn.
