large lot of antique 1800s school books one room schoolhouse vintage

Large lot of about 12 antique school books. These old schoolbooks are from the mid to late 1800s. There are readers, arithmetic textbooks etc.

The oldest book we saw was dated 1845. There is also one dated 1864, a couple from the 1870s and a number from the 1890s.

A few of these books didn't have dates (or were missing those pages), but we'd guess these books are all about the same age.

These books are in very rough condition. They are heavily worn and weathered with bent and stained covers as well as worn, torn and missing pages, soil and pen and pencil marking.
