This came to us with a hand written paper saying 'butter scraper', but aside from that, I can't tell you very much about it. It's out of a Wisconsin farm estate, where butter was a chief farm product and a way of life for many for about a hundred years. But I've never seen a tool like this before - it looks more like a door stop than a butter shaper! Shows some age and wear, and measures about 10 1/2" long end to end.
