hand-painted Japan vintage Christmas Santa electric teapot, water for coffee pot

Cute little Santa hot water pot to heat water for tea, or instant coffee. This is marked copyright Dan Brechner (though it looks like a Holt Howard Santa Claus to us!) vintage Japan, we think?

Measures 7" tall, and looks excellent, no chips, cracks, or wear to the painted finish. The original electrical cord is missing, however.
