Wear-Ever aluminum coffee pot, the hard to find oval with black bakelite handles in an angular shape, very art deco! The patent number on this piece dates to 1930.
This is a drip or dripolator ( drip-o-lator ?) style coffee maker, for stovetop use. No filters are needed, the coffee goes straight into the aluminum filter basket, the boiling water goes in the drip chamber above that. The pot holds six to seven cups, and measures 11 1/2" tall with the drip basket in place.
The pot is nice and clean inside and out, but does have some scratching, and some dullness to the finish which would clean up with a good polishing. (The green spot is a reflection of our photo person, not a streak on the aluminum.)
