Pretty hand-painted bed lamp pair, with early plastic lamp shades. These are 8" long over the shade, and have metal hooks to fit over a bedstead frame.

They look good and work well... the original wiring is complete, and the shade has no chips, breaks, or discoloration. One of the original shade set screws has been replaced with a plug of wood, however! One of those yankee ingenuity ideas used during WWII when supplies were hard to come by, it works but looks a little different.
