antique handmade lace table runner, early 1900s vintage tatting, tatted lace

Long table runner or dresser or mantel scarf, all handmade tatted lace, cotton thread lace. This is early century vintage, probably pre-WWI when tatting was very popular. It's right out of an old farm estate in Illinois.

This measures about 42" long x 13" wide. It's supple without any brittleness, and we found just one hole over the entire piece. It is a little yellowed from years of storage - we haven't washed or soaked it, it's just as found.
