Vintage 1940s cotton covers for quilts or feather filled ticks (the comforters, duvets and even mattresses of yesteryear!). These came out of an old farm house here in Wisconsin, where they'd been stored away for many years. These are period cotton print paisley fabrics, each in a slightly different shade of blue, which work nicely together!
These are made like a giant pillowcases (knife edge, with openings at one end, which close with rubber buttons). The turquoise blue cover measures 70" x 79", and the cornflower blue cover measures the same. These are both in very nice condition, barely used if at all.
