Vintage Chinese carbon steel chef or butcher knife with a broad blade like a cleaver and a simple wood handle. The blade is stamped into the steel with Hong Kong and several strings of Chinese characters.
The knife blade measures about 7 3/4" long and 3 1/2" wide and is fairly heavy for a knife, but nowhere near as heave as a traditional American meat cleaver. It looks like a Ho Ching Kee Lee, but we're not sure as we can't make out all the markings.
There's some tarnish / discoloration to the steel and the remains of a label on the wooden handle.
