vintage or antique persian rugs, small shabby wool carpets to layer or upcycle

Lot of four very shabby old persian or oriental rugs, wool pile threadbare in large areas on some of these! They're nice pieces to add character and a little history to walls or floors. 

None of these have labels, and we can't tell you much at all about them or their history. They came out of an estate - that's all we know about them. We know very little about rugs, but we loved the colors and even the wear on these pieces.

The shabbiest brown carpet measures 34" x 63", the better brown carpet measures 29" x 54". The two red carpets measure 22" x 29" and 26" x 50".

These are a little dusty, but no odors, mildew or problems like that. You'll probably want to clean them if you're planning on hanging them like tapestries.
