Pair of mid-century vintage, industrial pendent lights with white porcelain enamel shades in excellent vintage condition. Perfect for your shop or studio! These industrial machine-age ceiling lights are made by Benjamin (these individual lights are not marked, but we have more of these lights that match and they still have the remains of the original Benjamin labels). These lights have cast aluminum light fixtures and white enameled metal shades. The shades both have a thin black stripe around the bottom.
They measure about 16 1/4" across the bottom of the shades and about 18" high over the light fixtures, not including the iron hangers. The enamel shades are about 13" high and 7 1/2" across the fitter. These ceiling light fixtures have an overall drop of about 23" from the mounting plates to the bottom of the shades, but this distance can be easily changed by changing the length of the pipe.
These industrial lights have gimbaled mounting plates and iron pipe hangers. The gimbaled mounting allows the light to hang straight when mounted on an angled surface, like the ceiling or exposed beams in your loft, studio, shop, stable, etc.
