Vintage machine-age industrial protective wire cage for an industrial lighting fixture. We were told that this might be Appleton or Crouse-Hinds, but we are not sure as it isn't marked. The wire is steel and the top of the cage is aluminum. This measures about 10" across the wire cage and 7-1/2" high. The threaded mount is about 5-15/16" across the inside. It is in nice condition.
