Two vintage china turkey platters - the smaller one measures a good big 16 1/2" long, and the bigger one measures a huge 18 1/4" long. Neither of these is marked that we could find, but both of them look like vintage Japan ware to us.
The smaller platter has some small glaze chips to the rim, and the larger platter has some chips to the rim which are more noticeable. Both are in good usable condition yet, and it's nice to have a platter for Thanksgiving or Christmas that's the same design as Grandma's.
With these, you can have a really big one for the roast turkey, and a slightly smaller one for a deep-fried turkey (or a chicken, or a ham, or a good big roast beef?). We like the two turkeys, ourselves!
