Old oak hand crank generator / ringer box for an early telephone, made by "Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Co - Chicago, USA". This old ringer box is finger jointed (sometimes called dovetailed) solid oak with the original Kellogg label decal on the front. There is a paper label on the inside of the front panel with the inspection date of Sept 1926, dating this telephone generator to the mid 1920s. Great for restoration or as parts for your collection!

The oak cabinet measures about 10" high, 8" wide and 5" deep (from the wall when mounted). The wire pigtail has four stranded conductors. This generator magneto looks in very nice condition inside and the crank turns.
