We've been told that the original mold for these little barrels was used to make penny candy measures (a small measure to dip out a penny's worth of candies, out of a barrel or drugstore jar), and was later used to make shot glasses! We have seen lots of these little barrel shaped glasses, but had never known about the earlier use until recently, and thought that it was very interesting.
This is a set of four little barrels, amber yellow glass, 2 1/2" tall. These are 1960s vintage, we think - and all are in excellent condition.
