mid-american heritage scenes vintage Canonsburg dinner plates

Two vintage pottery plates with scenes of historic America - these are about 9 1/2" in diameter, neither has chips or cracks, though both have a bit of wear to the design.

One plate is marked "View of the Chicago River 1868" (1868 dating the scene, not the plate, which is 20th century!) and Canonsburg, Mid-American Heritage.

The other plates shows soldiers meeting the indians for a treaty, and is not marked, though from the same series.
