Eight vintage pottery plates, made in Italy. These have a matte finished surface made like a melon rind, with netted texture... and a cantaloupe colored underside!
The plates measure 10 1/2" in diameter, large enough to use as chargers under smaller salad plates, or to display groupings of small objets'. There's some wear to the finish, which is different from plate to plate. One plate has a large chip to the rim.
