Early 1900s American creamware, very early Taylor, Smith and Taylor (TS & T began operation in 1899 in an already operating pottery, and these are marked with a very old TS & T mark). This is really lovely, with embossed leaf pattern border.
There are eight plates 6 1/4" in diameter, eight plates 9" in diameter, eight plates 10" in diameter. There's one 13 1/2" oval platter, and four of the 7 1/2" soup bowls.
Much of this has discolored crazing or varying degrees of browning from age and use. Some pieces have a few small chips. It's a nice large set in very usable condition, the browning doesn't really detract from the pattern, since it's a border design.
