Pretty floral pattern earthenware china pitcher, to hold water for washing and shaving, before the days of indoor plumbing. It's not marked with a maker, we're guessing it's 1890's vintage or early aughts.
The pitcher is 11" tall, still water tight, although it shows damage and repairs to the rim. We like the embossed flowers pattern, we generally find these in flat transferware patterns, from both English and American makers.
