1947 book of "Elementary Surveying - Volume I - Second Edition" by "William Horace Rayner, C.E., M.S. - Associate Professor of Civil Engineering - University of Illinois". This has about 419 pages with tables, illustrations of surveyors tools (transits etc.) tables, charts and more.
This book is from an old farm estate library and has condition issues. It is worn and the pages have discoloration and staining from something being spilled (probably coffee) on this volume years ago. The top edges of the pages are wrinkled from moisture and there is some mildew spotting on the inside of the covers and endpapers.
