This textbook on the diseases of garden vegetable plants is written by "Charles Chupp, A.B., Ph.D. - Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology, New York State College of Agriculture at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York". It has 647 pages with many photos and illustrations. This book carries a copyright date of 1925. Great for the serious gardener.
This manual has chapters on the diseases that effect asparagus, beans, beats, carrots, celery, sweet-corn. The diseases of crucifers (cabbage, cauliflower, brussel-sprouts, radishes, turnips etc.), the diseases of cucurbits (watermelons, cucumbers etc.), eggplant, lettuce, onions, peas, peppers, potatoes, rhubarb, spinach, sweet-potatoes, tomatoes and more.
This book is an ex-library edition and is so marked. The cover is worn and the joints are cracked.
