vintage 1940 Walt Whitman/Leaves of Grass, Art Deco litho art plates

Old mid-century 1940 edition of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass". This edition has about 30 lithograph art plate illustrations (including a number in full color, the rest are black & white charcoal look) by Lewis C. Daniel. It measures about 8" x 11".

The cover of this book of this book is worn and heavily faded and discolored. The joints are cracked and there is damage to the spine. A several of the pages have pencil marks.
