covered oval serving dishes, buffet entree bowls, vintage silver plate

Huge lot of seven assorted vintage silver plate covered oval servers, about 9 1/2" long over the bowl, and 11 1/2" long overall. Many of these are sheffield plate (silver over copper or brass), we think. All have tarnish, but the plate looks good on all, not rust spotted, or polished down to the base metal. Nice older pieces with heavier silver plate than is generally found today!

Most of the makers are Rogers, or International Silver, we think, though many are unmarked. The patterns vary, but these look good and would work well together.
