Nice old wooden packing case for Dr. Price's Baking Powder, with remains of the original paper label. This has finger jointed construction, which is often called dovetailed (although a dove tail is properly a tapered cut, fanning out the end, like a bird's tail).
The box is good and solid yet, and it's a nice big size, 13" x 9 3/4" x 10 1/4" tall.
