Antique potato planter, looks a little rough, but works! The planter is jabbed down into the furrow, then the foot lever at the bottom is used to open a hole in the furrow. A piece of potato with an eye (or a whole small potato) is dropped down the basket into the hole made by the planter, then it's on to the next potato! The whole process takes only a matter of seconds.
This measures about 32" long overall, has some surface rust which was painted over years ago. The wooden handle at the top is a little rough, too.
