Huge old white ironstone china platter, measures 18" x 13 1/2" overall. This is marked Thomas Furnival & Sons - England (which would date this platter to sometime between 1871 and 1890), with the lion and the unicorn English potter's mark. It's in excellent condition, just a few small brown age spots - no crazing, scratching, cracking, or chips.
