nesting kitchen mixing bowls, vintage Oven Proof pottery, cream w/ green band

Two old USA pottery kitchen utility bowls, marked Oven Proof, 1930s or 40s vintage. The smaller bowl measures 7 3/4" across the rim and 3 3/4" deep. The larger bowl measures 9 3/4" across the rim and 4 3/4" deep.

Both of these bowls have discolored crazing, and the big bowl has a tight star hairline to the bottom. Neither have chips, which is nice! We have heard of local collectors soaking their finds in milk to take out the staining, but we've never tried it, and have not attempted to clean these up at all... they are coming to you as found, from an old Wisconsin farm estate.
