Rare old 1930s vintage, Silex vacuum coffee pot with red bakelite handle, lid, trivet etc. This old vaculator is complete with the filter plug, the bakelite lid and trivet and the rubber gasket the fits on the upper vacuum chamber. The glass coffee pot and the upper pot are both are marked "Silex - UK - Made in USA" and "Pyrex - T M Reg - US Pat Off". The coffee pot is marked with a patent number from 1932.
This coffee pot holds 5 cups and measures about 11" high with the upper vessel in place. This vaculator is in very nice condition. The rubber gasket and there are no chips or cracks to the glass or the bakelite, but there is a little rust to the metal clamp on the handle.
This vintage desk tray measures about 36" long, 8 1/2" deep and 7 1/2" high. It is in nice vintage condition.
