Early electric lamp, made to hold twelve glass teardrop prisms or long glass lusters... pretty for boudoir or parlor. (We have none of the original prisms, sorry!)
The lamp measures 8 1/2" to the top of the light bulb socket. The wiring is vintage, but possibly newer than the lamp itself, this may have been re-wired at some point years ago? The wiring looks fine and works.
This has a little roughness to the edges of the glass fittings, from flea bites and original maker's flaws. We love the beautiful translucent moonstone glass, but don't know who made this piece. We've been told that this is probably Akro Agate, as they are very well known for their little bedside and vanity table lamps. The glass looks to us like the Alacite made by Aladdin, though?
