1930s vintage hanging chandelier light, with ornate metal trim and gold gesso finished wood drops. The shade is a large dome of translucent glass 16" in diameter, and this measures about 36" over the the entire pendant from the ceiling cap.
The wiring is original, and is now worn and frayed. The chain is original too, and is very heavy, this light was probably made for a public building (a hotel, store foyer, or the like).
