Lot of vintage cotton sacks, from several farm estates here in Wisconsin, and rural Illinois.
This lot is 10 sacks with a medium weight, 36" wide fabric, 34", 36", or 40" long. These have all been dyed the same sunshine yellow color, many years ago.
These are all vintage bags, from grain for feed or seed, or flour bags, or sugar sacks, or chicken feed mash. The weights vary a little bit, as we sorted this lot by color! Some have a few spots or holes.
Vintages are mostly 1930s, 40s, and 50s, and most have been opened, all have been laundered, before and after the dye was used. The original printing on these is very faint, or gone.
None are perfect, new fabric, and that's just part of the original charm. These are genuine farm country primitive pieces, becoming increasingly hard to find.
