Lot of old pure cotton sheets and pillowcases - some plain and some with crocheted or tatted lace. These are so nice and soft, and the different lace edgings look so pretty together.
These have all been used, and none are in perfect condition - none of holes, but all yellowing and foxing, from use and/or storage. We haven't washed or soaked any of these pieces, all are as found from a couple of attic boxes.
There are two full flat sheets trimmed with lace, one with butterfly whitework embroidery and crochet, with with tatted lace insertion and J whitework embroidered monogram.
There's a full flat sheet with colored floral embroidery (not plain white, but lovely, we thought you might enjoy it anyway - so pretty for spring!)
There is a small narrow crochet lace edged dust ruffle, which is made to cover the springs with plain cotton, the flat skirt falling beyond that. The skirt is 13 1/2" deep, notched to fit a bed or day bed 36 1/2" wide x 73" long. This piece has some grey mildew spots, though the fabric looks sturdy without holes or odors.
There are three plain flat sheets - two twin size, and one full size.
There is a pair of cotton pillowcases with narrow crocheted lace insertion, a pair of cotton pillowcases edged in knitted lace, a pair of cotton pillowcases with narrow crocheted lace and two assorted single pillowcases, all with fancywork.
