Antique hand-tinted printed linen or cotton pillowtop to embroider, early century vintage, original, not a reproduction. This one is red poppies with green on a deep ivory colored background.
This pillow top measures about 21 1/2" x 22" to the unfinished edges of the fabric.
This is lovely just as is, even without any embroidery! The colors are clear without fading, and the cotton fabric has only very light age discoloration and a couple of small brown spots. The fabric would be great for framing, or as a quilt block, as well as a pillow top.
