Very old wall mount sewing rack, metal with a very worn mirror at the center (almost none of the reflective surface remains). We think the other square opening was intended to hold a velvet pincushion?
It's marked The Sewing Companion - Made in USA under Cooke's patent. There's a lot of surface rust to the metal, but no holes or weak spots.
