Small pocket or travel sized sewing kit, made of metal, with advertising for Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound. Inside the case fits a spindle with two little bobbins of thread... we are not sure what else (if anything?) would have fit in here, but would guess it had originally held needles as well? The case measures 2 1/4" long overall.
