1930's ,Hoosier vintage, kitchen wall clock with a cherry red plastic case. This is an original vintage Telechron clock for restoration or parts and is not a newer reproduction piece. The aluminum back of the clock is marked "Telechron Electric Clock - model CH203 - Warren Telechron Co - Ashland, Mass" and carries US patent numbers from the 1930s. The latest patent numbers are from 1935, before General Electric integrated the Warren Telechron Co (founded by Henry Warren, the inventor of a successful synchronous electric clock motor) into the rest of their business.
This period vintage kitchen wall clock has a bright cherry red hard plastic case and measures about 7 3/4" x 6 1/4" on the case and about 5 3/8" square on the clock face. The red plastic clock body is in excellent condition, with no crack, breaks or chips, but the clock does not run and needs to be fixed. There is a little bending to the aluminum back at the hanging slot. We are selling this clock for restoration or parts.
