Pair of old 1930s or 1940s vintage, flying or driving goggles with green tinted glass lenses. We're not sure whether these goggles were originally for flying airplanes or riding motorcycles, as aviator sun glasses were invented in 1936 by Ray Ban for pilots as they didn't like the pale rings that the earlier flying goggles left around the eyes.

The goggles measure about 2 1/2" long and 2" high on each side and about 6 1/2" across overall, although this distance is adjustable with a small leather strap over the nose. These have a black elastic strap around the back. The strap has been cut and a velcro fastener/extender has been added in at some time

These are in very nice vintage condition.
