Mid 20th century vintage convex glass mirror set in wood frame with applied gesso, gold gilt finish, antique classical Federal Eagle design, a vintage reproduction of a colonial era piece. This measures about 17" mirror diameter, and 33 1/2" tall top to bottom.
The gold finish is worn in areas, and the gesso has some chipping, which we actually like, it looks more 'real' this way, as it's now showing some wood. The wood frame has a couple of cracks, but seems to be holding well, very tight. The original paper backing is missing from the back of the frame, and the back of the frame and the cardboard backing have some light water spotting.
