vintage Saltillo Mexican pottery, handmade painted earthenware salad bowls set

Vintage Saltillo pottery dishes, souvenirs brought back from Mexico. This is a salad set - six individual bowls and one large serving bowl.

These have been used, and have some chips from manufacture (these are roughly made) and from use. They have a rustic, country feel, with the earthy colors and the hand-painted animals design, the chips really don't detract from these much at all.
