antique industrial lamp post light globe, marked Holophane ribbed prismatic glass shade 1917 patent date

Vintage Holophane model number 4375 shade, faintly sun purple but overall in good used condition. That's a mold line in the first close up photo, not a crack!

There's a few tiny chips to the ribbed texture on the exterior. Rim looks good without damage at the fitter indents. Rubber at the knob is worn but complete.

This is a nice old globe, very heavy glass. It's 8 1/2" across the rim, about 8" tall. Patent date is 1917, marked on the rim as shown.
