Antique, early 20th century vintage, industrial pendant hanging light... perfect for loft or studio lighting. This antique light has a white porcelain enameled fixture with a large milk glass reflector shade and globe shade. It is marked on the fixture frame with a 1917 patent date.

This light measures 17" across the glass reflector bowl shade and 10" across the glass globe shade. The reflector shade measures 6" across the fitter lip and the globe is 5" across the fitter lip. The overall fixture is about 18" high. It has an antique Benjamin, mogul base size porcelain socket (the large size that you see in industrial low bay lighting fixtures and yard lights) with a 1912 patent date on the edge. There is also an old white porcelain standard Edison Base size (regular light bulb) screw-in socket adaptor for increased lighting flexibility.

This industrial lighting fixture is made by Denzar and according to the original advertising, this model of fixture (Denzar No. 1 1/2) was rated for 300 watts. But it isn't marked so on the on the fixture.

This pendent light is made to be suspended from a ceiling cap with a length of lamp chain. Neither the ceiling cap or chain is included. The light is suspended from a temporary wire for the photos. The light is currently wired with a length (about 2 feet long) of rayon wrapped cord with a hard rubber plug.

This antique lighting fixture is in nice vintage condition, but it does have some old paint on the fixture.
