antique water cooler crock, army green thermos work or picnic jug 20s 30s vintage

Very nice clean crock jar 'thermos', 1920s or 30s, plain drab green metal exterior with wire bail and wood handle. This holds over a gallon, and measures 8 1/2" overall diameter, 10 1/2" tall not including the handle.

This doesn't appear to be marked, so I'm guessing it was made for civilian use in the design of those made for WWI soldiers, after the first World War. Great for camping, historical re-enactors etc.. We don't find many of these in usable condition these days, at close to a hundred years old.
