Beautiful Victorian waste water pot made by the Haynes / Chesapeake pottery company of Baltimore, 1880s vintage. Very much a piece where art pottery meets practical whiteware for every day use!
This is in rough condition, spotted, stained, chipped (inside rim) and also cracked (and missing the lid). It's a rare piece (not a lot of Haynes wares left around) in the very ornate Florian pattern, and I believe it's probably worthy of some restoration work, or at least a wire band under the rim to preserve it as it is.
It's a lovely thing for a planter, large vase or cachepot. Measures- 1/2" across the handles, 11" tall overall.
