shabby antique vintage velvet box or traveling case for bottles or writing instruments

We've not sure what this beautiful old box originally contained, but we love the faded worn rubbed velvet inside and out! It measures about 9 1/2" x 6" x 5 1/2" over the exterior. Nicely sized to hold to hold jewelry or other tiny treasures today.
