Seriously large masher / tamper for packing crocks or mashing fruit... this one is out of an Illinois farm kitchen, somewhat worn but with plenty of life left in it yet!

It's 5" across the wire utensil head (the masher part), and measures 22" long to the end of the sturdy wooden handle.
