antique white ironstone china platter, huge serving tray for roast or turkey

Beautiful huge and heavy old ironstone china platter big enough for a Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey! This measures 19 1/2" x 14" across the rim (as wide as many other platters are long).

There's one good sized chip to the rim at the end, but overall this is clean and bright with very little spotting - displays very nicely - and we wouldn't hesitate to use this on a holiday table. A good piece of Victorian or early Edwardian vintage English ironstone.
