vintage carved stone egg collection, Italian marble dyed colored Easter eggs

Vintage carved and dyed marble eggs, probably from Italy, we think. These are hen egg size, something around 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" long. The varnished colors are peeling a little bit, not terribly noticeable. These are hard to find nowadays!
