old glass rolling pin, vintage kitchen glass depression era glassware

Depression era glass rolling pin, designed to be filled with ice water to keep your pastry chilled while you work.

This one is missing the metal screw lid, which looks like it's probably a spice jar size. It's about 15 1/2" long end to end, a really big rolling pin!

There's some cloudy mineral deposits from use on the interior, but no other damage. Displays very nicely yet, and you could still use it as a rolling pin without water inside.
